They secretly liked each other but didn’t let each other know. This was an ideal case in need of Cupid’s help. They needed a little nudge from Cupid to get to know each other better.

Cupid took a deep breath, got into position, and reached for an arrow. He felt all around his quiver. He couldn’t find one. Where were his arrows?

Oh no. All that practicing must have used up his arrows. And now, on his very first day, he messed up. What is his father going to say. He won’t be very proud of him now.

Just then, when he thought his day couldn’t get any worse along comes his father. Cupid wanted to hide. Just as he opened his mouth to explain, his father pulls out a big handful of arrows. As he hands them to Cupid he asks, with a big smile, if he had lost something.
