Cupid was relieved to see his father smile but he was also confused. How did his father know he was out of arrows? And why was he not upset?

His father told him he could see how nervous he was on his first day. He felt he should keep an eye on him just in case he needed help. Cupid was glad he did.

Cupid used his first Valentine arrow for those two sitting at the library. They both looked up from their books and smiled at each other. As they started to talk about the books they liked Cupid looked over to his father. He gave Cupid a nod and a big smile. Cupid felt pretty good now. He did make his father proud after all and he went on to make the best Valentine’s Day ever.
