HOW TO CUT OUT A HEART SHAPE WITH BOTH HALVES EXACTLY ALIKE

It can be really hard to draw or cut out a heart making the left half looking exactly like the right. Here is a simple way to cut a heart shape with both halves matching perfectly.

1-Take a sheet of paper you wish to make into a heart (red construction paper works great) and fold it in half.

2-Draw half of the heart onto the folded paper starting at the fold as shown in the drawing at right.

3-Cut the folded paper along the line you just drew making sure you are cutting through both halves of the folded paper.

4-Unfold and there is your perfect heart shape!

HANGING HEARTS DECORATION

Cut heart shapes from different colors of construction paper. Cut different sizes and glue then together in layers of different colors like the picture below.

Punch a hole in the top of the middle and tie the end of a string into it. Now you can hang it for a cool decoration.
