Young Cupid was a quick learner and never - well almost never - fooled around. He took his father’s lessons very seriously.

Cupid’s father was proud of his son and was so happy to see how well he was learning. Valentine’s Day was fast approaching and his father was thinking Cupid just might be ready to try going out on his own this year.

Cupid’s father sat down with him and told him he felt he was ready to handle Valentine’s Day all by himself. Cupid had always dreamed of this day but he also felt it was a bit scary as well. His father told him not to worry. He said he was sure Cupid would do just fine. He also said he, too, was a little scared when he was young and first starting out.
